Affiliated with WNLO, SES has a strong team of high-quality and well-structured international faculty. Members of Biomedical Engineering Discipline include 1 academician, 4 Changjiang scholars, 5 winners of Outstanding Youth, 6 chief scientists of the 973 Program, 5 Thousand Youth, etc. SES also has the innovation groups of National Fund Committee and the Ministry of Science and Technology in key areas.

All these faculties are accessible to SES students, and many of them have formed 20 international teaching teams with more than 10 overseas professors (including 2 academicians of Canadian Royal Academy of Engineering) from world famous universities, such as university college London (UCL) and McMaster University to offer all-English or bilingual teaching instruction, seamlessly integrating with world-class universities.
